| Spiritual Legacy Will: It's your heart speaking to your kids after you've gone. |

THE SPIRITUAL LEGACY WILL
Most people are familiar with the LEGAL WILL, the concept of a last will and testament. It is a means of distributing your accumulated assets to your loved ones and favorite charities, and to effect other important decisions at the time of your death.
And then there is the LIVING WILL that you might sign which deals with health issues arising from your inability to make decisions.
But have you ever considered writing a will of your spiritual legacy?
In a metaphorical way, a SPIRITUAL LEGACY WILL is a way to bequeath your values in the same way that a will of inheritance provides for bequeathing your valuables.
Unlike wills of inheritance which divide things, a Spiritual Legacy Will is a way to share: your values, beliefs, hopes for the future, life's lessons, stories, love, and forgiveness with your family.
Writing a Spiritual Legacy Will provides a linkage from your past to future generations. (adapted)

Why We Write
1. We want to gain from the life behind us the wisdom to mold the lives before us.
2. We are nearing the end of our lives and want to share what it has meant to us.
3. We are motivated by the love of our families to leave for them the knowledge of who we were and the life we've lived in Christ.
4. We are people to whom God has given experiences too valuable to fade into oblivion.
5. We want to relive and relish the best years of our lives for the benefit of our families.
6. We know that the only thing death cannot destroy is eternal life and earthly memory.
